In 2019 I took a ‘Street Photography’ workshop and, during an assignment in Times Square, the professor challenged us to get up and close to our subjects, something that most people don’t really dare to do. Once you start getting comfortable doing that, it’s amazing to realize that most of the time people don’t really care or even notice you taking their photographs. Hope to get back to doing more of that this year!

What's interesting is that these women are all wearing headscarves which indicates their coming from countries where photography up close and personal is tanam!
So they are allowing a safe protest.
